Upon completion, Baltic Eagle will have an installed capacity of 476 MW and will supply over 50% of private households in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with sustainable energy.

Iberdrola remains committed to the deployment of renewables in international markets. Its third offshore wind project in the Baltic Sea, Windanker, will have 300 MW installed capacity and €800 million total investment.
Iberdrola Renovables and Fährhafen Sassnitz GmbH signed a lease agreement for the area for the construction of the operation and maintenance building for the offshore wind farm “Baltic Eagle” during a ceremony attended by Minister President Manuela Schwesig.
